Workforce Development Roundtable

Join the Mon Valley Business Alliance for a Workforce Development Roundtable focused on bringing employers and workforce partners together to better understand the hiring challenges, skills gaps, and workforce needs impacting businesses across the region. The discussion will provide employers with an opportunity to share what they are seeing firsthand, including challenges with recruitment and retention, in-demand skills and positions, training needs, and barriers to building a strong and reliable workforce.

The roundtable will also help identify areas where employers, educators, workforce organizations, and regional partners can better align their efforts to respond to those needs. The conversation will also explore opportunities for regional collaboration, including the potential to develop a coordinated workforce development initiative and pursue funding opportunities to support shared training and workforce needs across the Mon Valley.
