Midday Exchange Lunch
This month’s Midday Exchange will take a closer look at the PA DEP Small Business Advantage Grant and how local businesses may be able to use the program to support energy efficiency and environmental improvement projects.

Funding Opportunities
We also want to make sure our businesses know about funding and development programs available beyond the MVBA. Here are three opportunities currently accepting applications:
Keystone Creatives – Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program
Pennsylvania creative entrepreneurs can apply for a Growth Grant of up to $4,000 or an Impact Grant of up to $17,000, along with business assistance to help support the growth and long-term sustainability of their business. Applications opened October 1 and are due December 31.
F.N.B. + Pittsburgh Penguins Small Business Development Camp – Apply by October 2!
Five Pennsylvania small businesses will be selected for a six-week business development program, with the top three finalists ultimately competing for a share of $50,000 in funding plus Penguins marketing opportunities. Applications close October 2.
PA DEP Small Business Advantage Grant
Pennsylvania small businesses can receive reimbursement for 50%–80% of eligible project costs for projects that improve energy efficiency or reduce pollution, waste, or runoff, with grants ranging up to $7,500–$12,000 depending on the project and location. Applications are first-come, first-served while funding remains available.
